Suicide Prevention (click to learn more)

What Works in Colorado Springs

Presented by Colorado Counseling Association | Hosted by University of Colorado - Colorado Springs

As a community, we are consistently reminded that suicide affects families in Colorado Springs. Adolescents, veterans and aging adults may be at risk for considering suicide as an option to end pain, enact revenge, or permanently cope with temporary situations. Organized by the Colorado Counseling Association and sponsored by the Department of Counseling and Human Services, this event focuses on best practices for suicide prevention in our community. We will feature medical, school and mental health professionals who work in the Colorado Springs community. Suicide prevention practices in K-12 schools, on college campuses, and with our military community will be explored.

Join us Saturday, October 28th, 9:00am-12:00pm - Registration opens at 8:00am
