The 2019 Colorado Counseling Association Fall Conference Call for Proposals

The Colorado Counseling Association is proud to host the 2019 Fall Conference on August 17th, 2019. Included in this conference experience will be comprehensive educational opportunities with four tracks.

The following represents the guideline for submission, including timeline of events and submission criteria.

Timeline

May 1st, 2019 - Call for Proposals
May 15th – June 15th , 2019 - Window for Submissions
By June 30th, 2019– Presentation offers will be emailed
By July 13th, 2019 - Presenters must confirm intent to present

Submission Specifics

60 Minute Education Sessions
Primary Tracks:
• Treatment of Depressive and Anxiety Disorders
• Child and Adolescent Treatment
• Trauma and Stressor Related Disorders
• Best Practices Within Mental Health Practice, Supervision, and Education (select one of the various general topic areas from the drop-down menu)

Presentation Information Required When Submitting

Names of presenter and other presenters
Title of Presentation: Max. of 100 Characters
Degree
License(s)
Session Format: 60 Minutes
Program Summary: Summary of your presentation that will be used in the Conference Program. Max of 500 Characters
Rationale for presentation: Why this topic is relevant to mental health professionals in Colorado? Max of 400 Characters
Educational Content: Expanded summary of your presentation, reviewed by and visible only to the proposal committee. Max of 2000 characters.
Learning Objectives of Presentation: "Participants in this educational session will be able to..." Max of 5 objectives.
