Welcome to this training. I am grateful that you are joining me on this journey to help teenagers! I’ve worked with teenagers for over 20 years and I am constantly amazed by their resilience and grit. Sometimes life can be overwhelming for teenagers and they turn to maladaptive coping strategies such as self-harm. As counselors it is our job to be properly educated on how to walk with an individual who is struggling with self-harm. This video series is a “crash course” in how to effectively enter into their story and walk with them along their journey towards healing. I hope you will find value in these videos, and will be equipped to care for teenagers and their families well.
