Kellyanne Achramowicz

Kellyanne joined Colorado Counseling Association in 2014 as a graduate student member and
graduate student representative of Walden University while in the Clinical Mental Health
Counseling program at Walden University. She is a licensed professional counselor and
licensed addiction counselor who has served with providing clinical care and work with various
populations of mental health, substance use, and trauma from veterans and military to
homeless to criminal justice to the general community of individuals and groups in corrections,
outpatient, partial hospital, and inpatient settings.

Kellyanne has held several leadership roles in the mental health counseling community from
being the Walden Representative for Colorado Counseling Association (2014 - 2017), Rocky
Mountain Regional Chair of Chi Sigma Iota – Omega Zeta Chapter (2015 - 2016), Secretary of
the Colorado Counseling Association Student Governing Council (2016 - 2017), and Student
and Volunteer Coordinator of the Colorado Counseling Association (2019 – Present). Currently,
she is the clinical program director with a recovery organization overseeing their Colorado
Springs location.

Kellyanne has been passionate about supporting and guiding students through their education
experience and early career professional experience with the goal and desire to have Colorado
Counseling Association being a part of that goal and desire as a partnership. She is passionate
about having the upcoming professional counselors being a part of the Colorado Counseling
Association in helping direct and guiding the voice of new counseling professionals in
leadership, advocacy, and policy.
