    This is a volunteer opportunity to show our strength in numbers at the State Capitol. We will have the opportunity to introduce ourselves to legislators, share our stories about what we do in the field of mental health, so that we may continue to develop a meaningful relationship with those who will assist our advocacy efforts. 

    An orientation will be provided first thing in the morning as well as support throughout the day. 

    Please encourage others to attend; students, new professionals, affiliate, and retired mental health professionals are all welcome to participate! You do not need to be affiliated with CCA to join.

    Interweaves: Interweaves are an invaluable tool in EMDR therapy, particularly in complex cases, yet they are one of the most difficult tools in EMDR therapy for clinicians to understand and master.  This presentation will provide participants with an in depth understanding of essential keys to developing powerful and effective and interweaves that may be required to facilitate effective processing of EMDR therapy targets.  Participants will be taught tools to help determine which interweaves will best benefit the unique circumstances of their clients and how to implement interweaves effectively in order to maximize EMDR therapy treatment gains.
