Depression is spreading at an alarming rate . . .
Although the pharmaceutical industry and medical establishment insist otherwise, there's very little
evidence that depression is primarily a medical illness, best treated with medications. On the contrary,
the latest research clearly demonstrates that depression is caused more by social factors and negative
interpersonal patterns than individual biochemistry. We'll explore the many ways that therapy can help
change the physical mental, emotional, and social patterns that cause and maintain depression.
Featured Speaker: Michael Yapko, PhD
Dr. Yapko is a clinical psychologist and marriage and family therapist. He is internationally recognized
for his innovative work in treating depression and his expertise in the areas of outcome focused
psychotherapy and clinical hypnosis.
