CCA/CCDA/CLPCA Conference 2010
Celebrating Colorado Counselors

At the newly remodeled DoubleTree Hotel - Denver Tech Center
(CEUs Available)
Friday, April 16 & Saturday, April 17

We are very excited about our 2010 Annual Conference! We'll be bringing you a number of great programs presented by the Colorado Counseling Association (CCA) and its two divisions, the Colorado Career Development Association (CCDA) and the Colorado Licensed Professional Counselors Association (CLPCA).

Friday, April 16
The activities begin Friday April 16th with a half day workshop presented by CCA – Professional Leadership Training which will be presented Friday morning. Another half day workshop will be presented Friday afternoon by the CLPCA – Self-Care for the Counselor. To register for the CCA and CLPCA workshops click here.

In conjunction to these half day workshops, the CCDA will be presenting a full-day spring training – How Families Influence Our Career Choices and How We Can Use That Information in the Counseling Process. A continental breakfast and buffet style lunch are included in the CCDA workshop package. For more information click here. To register for the CCDA workshop, visit their Web site at by clicking here.

We’ll cap the day off with a reception sponsored by CCA, CCDA & CLPCA. (Note: you do not have to attend the workshops in order to attend the reception.)  Hors d’ oeuvres will be served at the reception and it will be a great way to meet other professionals from around the state as well as the teams from your state divisions. To register for the reception click here.

Saturday, April 17
The day begins with registration, a continental breakfast, and a short CCA “kick-off” meeting. Participants will then choose the first breakout session they’d like to attend. Following the first breakout sessions, participants will attend our keynote speaker’s presentation. We’re very excited to have Dr. David Capuzzi as our speaker this year.

Following Dr. Capuzzi’s presentation, a buffet lunch will be provided along with a short CCA presentation. After lunch participants will be able to visit poster presentations as well as various vendors who’ll be joining us.

The afternoon will be full of many more breakout sessions. We’re very excited to have a line up of great speakers who’ll be presenting a wide variety of topics for participants. CCA is qualified to provide Continuing Education Units (CEU) so participants can obtain the necessary documentation as proof of attendance at the end of the day on Saturday.
