Addictive Disorders, Behavioral Health and Mental Health

The purpose of the 39th annual winter symposium includes improving health professional attendee's evidence-based diagnostic/assessment, treatment, knowledge and practice skills specific to the addictive disorders as well as reducing and/or eliminating health care provider care gaps related to a broad spectrum of behavioral health and mental health disorders. Attendees will be able to identify 5 or more evidenced-based diagnostic/assessment measures, treatment interventions and practice gap reduction measures including psychotropic medications, psychotherapies, psychosocial treatments, and self-help care for persons manifesting various addictive disorder related conditions included in this educational program.
