Event Overview

2016 Courageous Conversations

Presented by Colorado Counseling Association | Hosted by University of Colorado Denver and Chi Sigma Iota

As mental health professionals and students, we are called to hold value for multicultural diversity and sensitivity. True empathy and advocacy happens in the context of courageous conversations that include self-reflection and honoring engagement with one another. We invite you to join us. Together, we can listen, learn and heal.

The Courageous Conversations event will host a panel discussion as well as small group engagement. Our panelists represent cultural minorities in Colorado while serving as mental health professionals and educators.
